Our Story
Why We Started Signature Savvy
Too many people struggle to find a notary when they need one most — during a health crisis, a real estate closing, or an urgent legal matter. Driving across town, waiting in line at a bank, or rescheduling around limited office hours adds unnecessary stress to already important moments.
Signature Savvy was created to change that. As a commissioned and insured Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we built a mobile-first practice centered on flexibility, professionalism, and genuine care for every client we serve.

Appointment Prep
How to Prepare for Your Appointment
A little preparation goes a long way toward a smooth, efficient notarization. Here's everything you need to know before we arrive.
Bring a Valid, Government-Issued Photo ID
Massachusetts law requires all signers to present satisfactory evidence of identity. Please have one of the following ready at your appointment.
- Driver's license or state-issued ID card
- U.S. passport or passport card
- Military ID card
- Permanent resident card (Green Card)
Your ID must be current and not expired. If your ID is expired or you are unsure what qualifies, contact us before your appointment and we'll help you figure it out.
Have Your Documents Ready — But Don't Sign Yet
Please bring the complete, unsigned documents to your appointment. Here's what to check beforehand.
- Do NOT sign the documents before the notary arrives — signatures must be made in the notary's presence
- Make sure all pages are present and in order
- Leave signature lines and notarial certificate sections blank
- If multiple people need to sign, all signers should be present at the same time

Choose a Comfortable, Well-Lit Location
We come to you — so pick a spot where you'll feel at ease and have a flat surface to write on.
- A kitchen table, desk, or dining room table works perfectly
- Good lighting helps ensure documents are read and signed clearly
- If meeting at an office, hospital, or care facility, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly
- We'll confirm the address and any access instructions when we schedule your appointment
We arrive on time. If anything changes on your end, just give us a heads-up as early as possible so we can adjust.
Some Documents Require Witnesses
Certain documents — such as wills, healthcare proxies, and powers of attorney — require one or more witnesses in addition to the notary.
- Check your document instructions to see if witnesses are required
- Witnesses must be adults (18+) who are not named in the document
- Witnesses should also bring a valid photo ID
- If you're unsure whether witnesses are needed, ask us when you book — we're happy to help
